Carp, I forgot to put an option for nothing. If you would have voted nothing just null your vote and say so in your post.

it's erythromycin, I think I'm allergic to nearly everything. Feels like it anyway. Wheat, milk, chocolate. I cheated for a while on the food allergies, but I've come to the conclusion that it's killing me, so I quit. I feel a little better, but I think it might take a while. I'm allergic to penicillin, tetanus booster shots, feldene, sulfa drugs, prednisone (this is what they give you for big allergic reactions, so it's kind of a problem), sunscreen, most cosmetics, lanolin (wool), down Pine, grass and some other pollens, mold, dust, lots of inhalant things and bee stings. |

Penicillin and anything in the "cillin" family. I did have reactions to e-mycin but they have since improved it over the years and I can tolerate it, though it is not a first choice. Add to the list.... molds, three or four varieties grasses trees mice cats dust mites various flowers etc. Sigh.... |

Mushrooms. They make me hurl and pass out, not necessarily in that order. Thankfully I have to eat quite a lot of them, because although I don't actually like them they're often hidden away in very nice food. |

long hair cats, and mold get my schnauzer going pretty good My arch-nemesis though is Shellfish. My eyes, mouth, and throat swell to the point I can breath. Eating food that has been cooked on pans that have previously cooked shellfish is enough to start a minor attack. Too bad, I've had shrimp once, and lobster once (took two times to figure what the deal was) and liked them both. |

Null vote: I have no medication allergies. "Allergy" to erythromycin is usually not allergy, but a common side effect: diarrhea. Allergy implies other things, like wheezing, rash, and other, nastier things. GI upset is common with erythromycin and other antibiotics. |

As an adult I became allergic to amoxcyllin (penicillin) after a large dose, dust and pet hair. I didn't have any allergies when I was a child. |

my drug allergies are all skin reactions: rash, hives or sometimes I just get really red, like a sunburn and then peel. It's really stupid. Even the prednisone made me break out all over and peel. |

I have allergies in the summer. I don't know what to, I just know the pills I take work. I'm also very mildly allergic to shedding dogs, which mine fortunately aren't. |

I also have awful allergies to something, I think it must be the Earth's gravitational field, that, when I don't take medicine, make it so I literally cannot breathe at all through my nose. I take lots of fun pills that help but I am hopelessly addicted to Afrin-type decongestants. If I don't have them I can't get through the day. They're year-round and aren't particularly better when I travel outside of Texas.

Poison ivy. When I was your age my summers were hell. I did not have to go into it to get it and I had breaking blisters all over my body. It itched so bad that I couldn't put a sheet over myself because the pressure made it itch worse. Summer after summer. I stopped getting it as bad as an adult and there isn't any here. I haven't had it in years but I'll never forget it. Mold. Some kinds of mold make me feel like I have stopped breathing but not all- but it is a constant problem here. |

I'm mildly allergic to avacados. They make the back of my throat itch if I eat more than 1/4 of one. I love avacados though so it doesn't usually stop me. I'm also mildly allergic to grass (primarily bermuda, I think). When I used to cut my parents lawn I would have to take a shower immediately after finishing up, and I would still be constantly sneezing and having a hard time breathing for the next hour or two. I also have some sort of allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in Freschetta brand pizzas. Everytime I've eaten a slice (and it only happened three times before I figured out what it was), the next morning my left ear would be completely numb. It would stay that way for at least two days. It's the most bizaar feeling to have to continually have to touch your ear to make sure that it's still there. |
