So far I have only voted during the national election in 2000 and 2004, so if the options were on there, I voted. Otherwise, I voted no in this poll.

Yep. Though I'm probably committing voter fraud of some kind. I moved a few hundred feet across the town border a couple years ago.

In the most recent election, when they asked to see my ID, I suddenly realized my ID had my new address on it. Nervous I wouldn't be allowed to vote if they saw my new address, I told them I had forgotten my license.

In previous years where this really was the case, they just made you sign your name on a piece of paper. CT had recently passed a law though requiring photo ID's for voting. I was therefore required to sign 2 pieces of paper, and say under oath that I was Richard Lindahl.

Now THATS security :rolleyes:

I vote, I go to meetings and talks about issues, but I rarely campaign.


I am one of the town's Election Wardens so don't want to be seen as supporting one issue or another.

In this small a town, pop. 5000, I can be rather visible. :o
