The definition is someone who goes to message boards to incite flame wars for perverse amusement? Wouldn't that person have to not maintain a consistent identity? What's the line between between being a troll and acting like one?

I don't know. I don't have strong opinions about it. I'd be interested what you all had to say.

I guess my person definition of a troll is a shill. My personal opinion is that there is a lot of shilling on the internet. I can't think of anything more dishonest. I particularly don't like forum owners who do it. Hm.

It's a manifestation of narcisstic personality disorder that is encouraged by the false sense of anonymity on the web. Ignore them. They hate that. :P

Seven million points to whoever can tell me where this is from. Yes, I'm thinking of a specific answer and no I'm not thinking of what the image URL is.

I'm glad you asked Daniel! I'm sorry your information has been so misinformed, however. Who have you been talking to?

To give you some background, the earliest known trolls belonged to the Zandalar tribe, from which all other trolls are descended. Trolls lorded over much of ancient Kalimdor, but many decided to leave their Zandalar bretheren in search of more conquests. As a result, two major troll empires had emerged: the Gurubashi empire of the southeastern jungles and the Amani empire of the middle forestlands. Most other Troll factions have emerged from these two groups. The Gurubashi empire has grown considerably, and is now a main Troll stronghold in today's Stranglethorn Vale.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Why that's just Joe Fisherman for all I know. And I have no idea what structure that is in the distance.

I was just trolling the net for a picture of trolling.

Seriously, the reason I asked the location is because it looks like Tampa Bay.

With internet friends like mine you don't need enemies present company not included.

If you post in a Forum for a while and aren't at least on occasion called a troll--you are a pretty dull person. :)

I love it when the socks come out and play- dance around and go back in their drawer. It's very fun for me because I don't know who they are and don't have to think about it too hard.
