How will your life differ from today?

Dunno. 2 years from now will be change enough. I have no 5/10/whatever year plan.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

My hopes for ten years from now would sound pretty much like a speech from Miss America and I take it about that seriously.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

If I'm still alive, I plan on anchoring a houseboat in the middle of the lake, and hanging signs on all 4 sides that say "If you come near me I will shoot you."

A couple options:

1) Traveling the world, no wife or kids
2) Having an MBA, wife, kids, and steady job
3) Same as #2 except running my own business
4) No wife and kids and running a movie theater in a small town
5) By my current pace, I will have exactly 128,206 posts.

If I go back 10 years and think what my preditions were for where I'd be today, I can see that I'm not very good at making these types of predictions.

That answer works well in job interviews too.
So live your life and live it well.
There's not much left of me to tell.

There's a quote from Bill Gates that I like quite a bit. He says people always overestimate how much change will occur in 2 years but underestimate how much change will occur in 10.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

oh, back to the original question.

10 years is a long time to predict anything but,

Where do I "want to be" in 10 years?

1) Alive
2) Healthy
3) Financally independent.

I would like to have my MM and maybe even doctorate. I would maybe like to be married by then, but no kids yet. I'd like to have a piano studio set up where ever I live (no idea where that will be).
And how are you today?

Happily retired.

Pay no attention to that post date. It's wrong. Actual post date: Sep 30 2006.

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.
