Every year, our local home builders compete in a contest to build playhouses. This year they were displayed at Victoria Gardens and we happened to be there to see them. They'll be auctioned off in a few weeks with the proceeds going to charity. These guys always outdo themselves on these little structures, and this year was no exception. I didn't like the exterior of the lighthouse much because they made it out of fiberglass, which is not very sporting. The interior however, is awesome: ![]() I'm told that they typically between $5K and $25K at auction, and if you buy one you have to move it. Can we build one for you? |

I absolutely adore the Soda Shop. My neighbour growing up was a contractor, and he built an amazing playhouse for his kids out of scrap materials leftover from various projects. Even though I was quite a bit older than his kids (I babysat them) I still thought it was the coolest thing ever. But the ones you just posted are brilliant. |
