The Not-so-Big House; McMansions in a Child's Portion

Every year, our local home builders compete in a contest to build playhouses. This year they were displayed at Victoria Gardens and we happened to be there to see them. They'll be auctioned off in a few weeks with the proceeds going to charity.

These guys always outdo themselves on these little structures, and this year was no exception.

And the interior of the lighthouse. I didn't like the exterior of the lighthouse much because they made it out of fiberglass, which is not very sporting. The interior however, is awesome:

I'm told that they typically between $5K and $25K at auction, and if you buy one you have to move it.

I absolutely adore the Soda Shop.

My neighbour growing up was a contractor, and he built an amazing playhouse for his kids out of scrap materials leftover from various projects. Even though I was quite a bit older than his kids (I babysat them) I still thought it was the coolest thing ever. But the ones you just posted are brilliant.
