Michelle Wie; Overdose?

Michelle Wie, golfer, is from Hawaii- and she is on the local news every night- every night.
Every single day she plays- there is a whole segment on her. Today- she
came in 146th playing against men in Europe. One of her claims to fame is- she wants
to play golf against men. She hasn't won a single tournment playing against women.
She has 50 million dollars in endorsements- and she hasn't won a single time. Golf
is not popular in Hawaii- except at resorts- locals don't play it- nobody particularly cares
about it. I'm having a Michelle Wie overdose.

FWIW, Daniel, she irritates us too. Maybe, if she'd win something things would be different.

Who was the female Russian tennis player (not Sharapova, who actually wins) that had tons of endorsements but rarely advanced?
So live your life and live it well.

I have to admit, I have noticed her articles myself. Very...engaging shall we say?

That would be Anna Kournikova.

She's too good to play with the women. Then she's too good to play in the US. She goes to Asia. Then she's too good for the US and Asia. She goes to Europe. She would have done the endorsements for five million. I guess Nike didn't get the memo.

I can't believe this thread is not illustrated.

If she weren't so young, I might be tempted to say something like "so, does the loser have to polish everyone else's clubs, or wash all of ther balls?", but that would not be appropriate, so I won't say it.
