FROM: DAVID BEDEIN

BUREAU CHIEF AND INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST

ISRAEL RESOURCE NEWS AGENCY

www.IsraelBehindTheNews.com

HELP THE ISRAELI PUBLIC SEE THE FACE OF THEIR "PEACE PARTNERS"

Momentum is under way to expedite negotiations between Israel and its Palestinian Arab adversaries.

Millions of dollars are being poured into that campaign, designed to convince the people of Israel that a dialogue

must be nurtured with two levels of Palestinian Arab leadership:

1. Those who sit in prisons who will pay for their freedom by choosing a path of non-violence

2. Those who are are democratically elected who will embark on a future path of peace .

A few months ago, Israel Resource News Agency dispatched an American TV producer and an Arabic speaking journalist to interview leading Palestinian Arabs who now sit in jail for life and then to interview the newly elected leadership of the Palestinian Authority.

The questions asked:

*Do you have any regret for murders that you have conducted or endorsed?

*Would you favor doing so again?

*What are the prospects for peace with the State of Israel?

Their answers were clear and frank:

*Justification for murder

*Full motivation to kill Jews again

*No chance for peace with Israel.

Negotiations are now imminent to free these convicts, and to make an accord with the elected leaders of Palestinian Authority.

The same American TV producer has returned to Israel for one week to work with his Arabic speaking Israeli journalist colleague to edit and produce this film and to present it to the Israeli public.

The people of Israel deserve the opportunity to see what their adversaries are saying.

...

HERE IS A 19 Minure trailer of the movie:

SUMMARIES OF SELECTED INTERVIEWS:

Hassam Wakim was interviewed for several bombings, two of which were described in detail by Hassam himself. Wakim explained his involved in the bombings of the Yeshiva University Cafeteria and the Moment Café.

Wakim explains how he drove to Yeshiva and waited for his accomplice to plant the bag carrying the bomb. Wakim stated that he detonated the bomb remotely via cellular telephone as he drove away.

Wakim then explains how he drove the suicide bomber to the Moment Café and how he advised the suicide bomber to find and target the most populated area. He also advised the suicide bomber to push his way through inside the targeted location at all cost and then detonate the bomb.

Wakim describes the Jews as “evil” and that there is no negotiating with Jews. He stated that violence is the only option.

Bargouti describes his involvement in the bombing of Sbarro Restaurant. Bargouti discusses what led him to join the Hamas Terrorist Organization, and what led to the bombing of Sbarro. He built the bomb and placed it in a guitar, handed the guitar to a woman who would meet the suicide bomber.

Bargouti explains how he was arrested and how he heard the news about the attack on Sbarro Restaurant. He then describes his feelings about the attack. He states that he along with all Palestinians were happy after hearing the new of the terrorist attack.

Several female prisoners were interviewed regarding their role in terrorist attacks. They freely discussed their hatred and lack of tolerance to Jews. One female prisoner stated that if it were up to her she would “kill” all the Jews. Another female prisoner stated how she felt honored to wear a suicide belt, while a third stated that the Jews have no right to land that belongs to the Palestinians and that the Jews can never co-exist with Palestinians.

The newly elected leaders of the Palestinian Authority they concur with the convicts who have been incarcerated: terror attacks will not cease until the Zionist entity is removed from the Middle East, by any and all means possible.

The time has come to present this film to the people of Israel to judge for themselves as to whether they have a partner for peace.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
For criminal matters I oppose the death penalty. But this is not criminal, it is war. Had Israel simply done what they should have with them, taken them out back and put a bullet through their brains, there wouold be none of these animals to release.

Shmilowitz, what did you expect them to say ? That they are yearning to marry your sister or you and make you beautiful babies ? They are in prison, for God' sake !

Given the possibility that they will be released, they HAVE to speak that way. Otherwise they'll be shot on the spot as collaborationists. Capisce ?

Actually they really love us. They do ! They just don't know how to express their innermost feelings.

And this attitude of seeing all Palestinians as evil and thus refusing to deal with them is moving Israel to its supposed goal of peace how?

And this attitude of seeing all "Palestinians" as rational and thus insisting that if Israel would only give them what they want when it is a proven fact that their single consistent goal is to wipe Israel off the map is supposed to achieve peace how?

Not all Palestinians.

But many of them. You can't blame them, I guess -- most of the children have been taught in school to hate; they have been taught in elementary school that Jews are pigs and deserve to be killed; they have been taught in elementary school that there is no such country as Israel, and that it is glorious to commit suicide in the middle of Sbarro's Pizza in order to murder as many civilians as possible...

What really needs to change is the educational system. I know people who absolutely hate all Palestinians and would be very happy just killing them all - but this is the attitude of the Palestinians against Israelis, and it is exactly the wrong kind of attitude.

Palestinians are not inherently evil - but they are taught to be evil. Surely, you can agree that what they are being taught (that Jews are pigs, that they must all be killed, that suicide/homicide bombing is glorious and commendable, that they must not stop until every Jew is dead...) is evil.

So, remove that from the schools and see what happens. But who is in charge of the schools? A small terrorist organization called Hamas. Oops. Yes, it's a small organization, but it has such incredible influence.

A VERY interesting idea, Sam.

We all know that children do not naturally harbor hate -- they are taught it. We also all know that parents want the best for their children and can be brought along if their children are being given something of value.

I wonder what would happen over a short few years if the Israeli government opened its schools to Palestinian children from the occupied territories as well as from Gaza. Obviously safeguards would have to be established so that this does not allow Palestinian terrorists into Israel. But suppose Israel provided the buses and transportation, thus controlling this access.

I suspect that a few years of Palestinian and Israeli students in school together, talking together, learning together and of Palestinian parents and Israeli parents working together to provide for a good school environment for their children might be a lynchpin in creating a completely different relationship between the two peoples.

And if Israel could not afford this, I would be willing to have the US underwrite such an effort, rather than smply underwriting the cost of bombs and munitions and war planes.

That's a great idea, Rick, but I see a few obstacles:

1. A large number of Palestinians have set their life goal as completely eliminating the state of Israel. Do you think they are going to allow their children to attend Israeli schools?

2. A large number of other Palestinians have set a goal to create two independent states: 1 Israel and 1 Palestine. Why would these people want to send their children to Israeli schools rather than trying to remove the hatred and bigotry from their own schools? This does not solve their problem at home - the hatred might even fester to a much greater extent among the children who attend Palestinian schools, and they might consider those Palestinians who do study at Israeli schools to be traitors.

3. How are the buses going to safely transport children between Gaza and the West Bank and the rest of Israel?

I do think it's a great idea, but with some problems that would need to be considered. For a long time, people have expected the Israelis to clean up the Palestinians' mess. But, unfortunately, this is a backwards demand: it is up to the Palestinians to clean up their own mess; AND, Israel can help them, and the rest of the world can help them, but ultimately it is their mess and they are the ones who need to clean it up.

Unfortunately, with a terrorist organization holding 99% of the Palestinian government, it's kind of hard to remove the hatred and bigotry from the Palestinian schools. Maybe trying to integrate Palestinian kids into Israeli schools, as you suggest, might spur them to try and change their own schools in the next generation, or maybe not.
