Mmmmmmm, pie!
That's right. The war is lost. And I expect every liberal and every Democrat to stay consistent and actually follow their own advice.

The war I'm talking about is the left's war against Bush. It has gone on now longer than WWII. You haven't won one single battle. The nation has suffered greatly as a result of your war, and it has become a quagmire. Your long slog has failed. So, in keeping with your principles, you must therefore cut and run. It is time for you to call your troops in.

Quit. Give up. Leave.

'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all doing direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.'

In case anybody's wondering, this was not one of George W Bush's speeches. Maybe it will be one day.

I don't think "President Dickens" could ever win, anyway. His last name is almost as bad as if Sen. Richard Sucker ran...
