Daniel,

Its great to see that you have joined this place. Sometimes we have an odd member join now and then and I cant tell if they are real, but you seem like a promising member for this place!

Tell us a little about yourself, where you are from, etc....

Welcome to the party, and grab a cup of coffee (or liquor if thats your thing!)

89th,

Your wish is my command.

I was interested in buying a piano and I found Piano World. I read through every interesting post in the Piano Forum.

I felt like I vitually got to know many of the community there. Then I found the secret Coffee Room forum.

Wow!

I was very interested in what happened with Piano World and how the community formed three posting boards to continue your discussion.

I have posted on watch sites for five years (believe it or not). This ran its course (it was a small community and the members didn't have anywhere else to go). I was looking for an off topic board where I might participate and contribute and to be honest I wanted to be a part of the community here after reading the Coffee Room posts.

So far, so good.

Thanks for asking!

Daniel

Cool, glad to see you joined! Where do you live?

Don't forget to add it to the coffee room map!! It's one of the pinned topics at the top.

89th,

Hawaii, and I will! Thanks for the warm welcome!

George K,

Wow, what really shocked me was the price of pianos! If I had my way I would buy a Tier 1 or 2 German piano or a Mason & Hamlin or in a perfect world both.

I know I welcomed you in the other thread, but I'll say it again - glad to have you aboard!

It's a great group of people here - I've been around for about a year and a half, but that's relatively new compared to some of the histories of the posters here.

Hawaii, huh? I've managed to meet 2 members of the board (and already knew a third, who I dragged into the fray, much to the dismay of many, I'm sure), but I'm not sure I'll ever manage to get out that way!

Bienvenidos! Welcome to our corner of the 'net

Unfortunately there is no one thread where we all introduce ourselves, but if you have some time there are some really good in-depth self summaries here.
