HOLY CARP!!!

Ok...here's an idea of where I am right now. I'll try to remember to take my own photos. Where is it??? ![]() Close-up. It's in an oxbow of the River Severn ![]() Train station. Still looks like this. ![]() Wyle Cop. The main road through the town. It's on a fairly steep hill. ![]() The Dingle (garden) in The Quarry park. (New) St. Chad's in the background. ![]() The best part - my local (which is actually a mile from my dad's house). The walk is worth it. The shadow is of St. Alkmund's, which is RIGHT across the "street" from the pub.![]() St. Julian's, which is right next to St. Alkmund's. ![]() This is (from L - R) Nigel, Dave, Vicky, and...don't remember his name. Vicky and Dave are the owners, and the others are members of CAMRA - Campaign for Real Ale. Very nice people. ![]() More will be posted soon-ish. |

PHOTOS I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week, sometimes, to make it up. - Mark Twain We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time. -T. S. Eliot | |

You haven't lived if you haven't been to Spag's...it's legendary, like Wall Drug. But alas, it's a different Shrewsbury. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spag's |
