IT,

It seems I made an ass of myself here yesterday. That's nothing too unusual, and not even something I would otherwise regret - aside from an "Oh s***. I did it again."
What I do regret is the stuff I posted that was directed to and about you was not nice, and frankly insulting. Please accept my apology and assurance that it does not reflect anything I actually do think about you.

Thank you.

[the ironic part is it was in the Mel Gibson thread, and I can't even use the excuse of being drunk.]

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

Of course, Phlebas, I accept your apology as if it never happened. (in that huntin' and fishin' sort of way).

Now all you have to do is propose a series of meetings with yourself & Ivorythumper, to try to determine the origin of those comments, and...
