I would like to report that it is midnight here, and the humidex is 43C (110F). According to the radio, the humidex got up to 120F today. I thought I lived in Canada?

Ick. It's bad here too, but not quite THAT bad. I see it's supposed to be over 100F the next couple days, and not dip below 80F any of the next couple nights. BLECH! Fall is going to feel soooooo good. |

We got the rain yesterday. 30 minutes of torrential downpour with lots of hail (Liam asked if there were rocks falling from the sky). Then it turned into this. I hate the summer. I hate winter, too, though. And Canada doesn't get a proper spring or fall.

We finally got rain Saturday night. Torrential rain, thunder and lightening. All over in about an hour. The lightening was scary; way too close. It's cooled down here a bit, only about 21 now, and the nights are cool enough that I can sleep again.

I don't know about the Humidex, but here it was around 34 degrees today. Uncomfortable to even be immobile outside. EDIT: According to Environment Canada, the Humidex is 38 currently(1:29 AM) EDIT2: The Low is 13 on Friday! Thank god for that! |

Phoenix has been nice and cool. Mid 90s, moderate humidity, a bit of rain... lovin' it!
