Well, STILL no internet access at home, and I barely have any time at all to make it to a library these days, which is where I'm at now. Well, life has been very busy lately... Working full time now, Kassandre and I just celebrated our half-anniversary... and just this current moment I'm also looking around for an inexpensive yet useable piano that doesn't play/sound horrible... So, how's everything going around here? |

Jgoo! I was just thinking about where you might be these days...great to hear from you. This place burned down last month, but we recently rebuilt it stronger than ever. We even included some global-warming insulating panels to keep the heat out - kinda backwards, I know. John D'Oh has his own room now although his sister misses his company (and the doll house he secretly stole). Kenny bought a 6th piano so now our entire downstairs and basement is full of pianos - but it's all good since we know there will never be a deficit of pianists (or opinions for that matter). Improv and Plays keep taking vacations into the backyard (suspiciously close to the doghouse IMO) and Aqua finally learned where the shower was. I just got back from a vacation where I spent a whole week inside a closet. Now that I'm out of the closet, Ivory doesn't speak to me anymore. Dewey still works in the library each day, but don't worry, we bother him until he swears, and then we all giggle. George was recently quiet for a while, but it turns out he was just sleeping - he apparently was practicing for his job and apparently did TOO good of a job, if you know what I mean. Justme and Apple still hold this place together, including fabulous dinners and lots of sewing torn jeans back together. Quirt and Rick Zimmer sometimes like to poke Larry when he is asleep only for him to wake up in a rage and start mumbling odd phrases about liberals and weenies. MP also recently opened the door to a traveling salesman who was about 50 only to find out he was selling bananas, or at least she hopes that it was what he was selling! JBryan and Dol occasionally read the newspaper outloud during dinner only to spark uncontrolled debating by all, followed by a food fight - personally, I've found mashed potatos work the best when balancing flight trajectory and messiness. Jolly still sits in the corner, telling wise tales and curious stories, yet I can't seem to remember the last time we saw his face - all we know about him is his voice and general location in the house. PJ is incessantly busy with school although comes out of his room for lunch, dinner, and the occasional trip to Israel. Mik, Diva, Opt, Bach, and AC are currently playing cards, and there are a few new faces that I have yet to meet. There's always a great place to sleep, tasty food to eat, and fresh cup of coffee waiting on the counter for you - although you never see someone make it, I think everyone in the house takes their turn in brewing a fresh pot. Anyway, that's an update for you, stop by again soon, but now I have to get back to my movie... |

Sorry Chris, I started listing people, then realized there are so many that I just tried to mention the top 25 posters or so... And John, I prefer snorting, not smoking. BTW - what inspired your new avatar? |

I was just having a bit of fun in one of the threads with what I saw as the term 'monster' being applied a little over-zealously. Plus, how can anybody get mad with such a wonderful creation as The Cookie Monster, even if he is broadening his diet of late? |
