The cat (with no hat) came back!

5.30 this morning I put the dog out for his morning ablutions, he goes running round excitedly in circles, and disappears off into the woods. A little unusual, but it's normally caused by a squirrel. I hear cat-like mewping from the bush by the back door, followed by the emergence of the cat, 5 days after she disappeared. She's looking pretty thin, and seems to have very sore feet, but she's very happy to be back. She looks as though she's walked a fair old distance, possible after falling asleep in a truck. I've never seen a cat drink a pint of water before.

Today is a very good day.

I know, I'm totally soft, but what the heck.

Now I'm posting like Kenny.

Now all you need to do is put up an electic fence (do those work with cats?) to keep her home!

Glad he's back, John.

Pity about the hat, though.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that John. ^_^ I was going to ask you today if there was any news.

Cats, eh. If only they could tell the stories of their adventures. :hat:

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Musicasacra - the chances of our cat doing that spooky little boogaloo are pretty remote at the moment. This morning she ate a bigger breakfast than I did, and promptly fell asleep on the kitchen table. The cat is thin but pretty happy.
