This is a good idea. There are alot of opportunities (especially in Asia) for English teachers. The working hours are generally pretty flexible and you can work as little or as much as you want. The down part is that housing, etc. is on your own.

Oh yes, you should also like children as most of the courses are for kids.

BTW...a lady at work reads alot. I asked her how many books, and she said she averages 350 books per year. I thought you'd be proud!

That sounds great, 89th!

I'd say start with going across the pond, just to get used to travelling. Same language...well...kinda, but a WHOLE different culture and lifestyle over here. My parents (who have lived many places in the world) said that of all the placed they lived, England/UK was the most different to America.

After that, go to continental Europe. It's loads of fun, and SO easy to get around. I'd say spend AT LEAST 6 months there. Then go for Asia.

Just go in a big circle :biggrin:
