That Larry could play so damn well drunk on the recordings he posted was just incredible. i will probably never play that well sober.

I'll betcha Larry couldn't play that well sober either. :woot:

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I have always been amazed at how, even after one drink, my piano playing goes to hell.

Me too.
I can play guitar after alcohol.
I can play guitar, practically, in my sleep.

But classical piano takes all 17 of my brain cells.

I'm pulling this out of my a$$, but if Gibson is a reformed alcoholic who hasn't drunk in a long time isn't he less likely to be able to control the effects of alcohol? I know when I drank on a more regular basis, the effects for a particular quantity of beer drunk appeared to become less over time. I've read that the physical effects are actually the same, but that your brain becomes used to dealing with them, so you feel less drunk. This is why some regular drinkers feel that they are OK to drive, even though their physical reaction times have gone to hell, their brain is fooling them into thinking they're OK.

it's been reported that there was an empty bottle of Tequila in his car. Something pretty bad must be going on in his life. I wonder what it is. For a reformed alcoholic to take on a bottle of Tequila, somethings happening. Something bad. He wasn't out having a good time. Obviously he was angry about something and something set him off.

Some people seem to think that the fact that Gibson was drunk means his comments were meaningless. This is false. If someone isn't racist, they don't start calling black police officers "n***er" just because they are drunk. It just doesn't occur to them, if they are not racist.
