We had a fabulous dinner this evening. Tandoori chicken and pork ribs. Fresh green beans and new potatoes a la Paula Dean. Garlic bread. Apple dumplings with fresh cream for dessert. It was SUBLIME! |

I had pasta a few hours ago, but feel hungry again already. I've had such an appetite lately. So bad! I feel like I need that 4th meal that fast food place advertises for. |

that happens to my kids when they're about to be inches taller. They eat me out of house and home and seemingly overnight all their jeans are too short. |

I wouldn't mind a few more inches! But sadly, I think I've reached my apex. My appetite just comes in monthly cycles, like my mood. |

I am just weird about grilled portabellos Mik...I could live on them. I am also crazy about grilled red peppers and grilled asparagus. I don't need other food, in fact...grilled veggies are such a feast! |

Sounds like a lot us are on the same page, culinarily speaking. I had bbq'd wild sockeye as well, and asparagus and new potatoes. Everything on the barbeque, too hot to turn on the stove. Couple of fresh tomatoes, and some chilled Sauvignon Blanc. Should've looked for some mushrooms, too.

What's wrong with that? Nothing is better than fresh tomatoes out of the garden. Today's Janet's birthday, and I'm taking her out to lunch. It is Famous Cheeseburger Platter day at our fave little watering hole, Win Place or Show. |
