Hey, Kenny...I am all for hybrids etc. (I just bought a new fridge even though the old one worked but to save on energy consumption. )

But I have found one negative feature of Hybrids that I, as a mother have had concern of late.

Several times my kids and I have nearly been hit by one in parking lots. Seems that when cruising at that speed, they run on battery and are silent! More than once we have had a startle to find a car right behind or beside us!

That's on the Prius.

The Honda Hybrid's engine runs whenever the car moves.
Different system.

Yell at Nina.

Beelady, I have the opposite thing happen with my Hummer.

People stop 10 feet away and stare and point, little kids tug on their mother's shoulder to get a look.

They see it comin'.

What is the most fuel efficient vehicle?

One of the best candidates I've seen put forth was a 60's era Land Rover.
