Yes.. and since it was a president you approved of in office, you let it go at that.

Clinton? Nope, I was a Republican at the time.

You know what happens when you assume.... :P

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

That Hussein was a brutal and indefensible totalitarian warlord was suffcient and just cause to have a forced regime change in Iraq.

That is your opinion, I take it? It certainly wasn't the primary case presented by GWB in the runup to the invasion.

And rather than enter into a rehash of the reasons for the invasion, I'll let you have the last word. :D

I didn't say that was the Bush Admin's reason for intervention. Their rationale was that Hussein was in contravention of UNSC Resolution 442 (?). At the time no one other than the Iraqis themselves, and certainly not even the French, Germans, Chinese and Russians disputed that Hussein was likely in contravention and held the SC in contempt. They simply didn't support unilateral action on the part of the US and Britain as Permanent Memebers of the UNSC to enforce the resolutions.
