You just like cowboy movies that begin with "broke".
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Nah, didn't even go see the sheepherder movie...

I do like Bob Duvall, and the rest of the cast is good.

I wonder if our own Alberta Crude is an extra anywhere....the wranglers were all from Alberta, and I think the movie was shot there. Lots of "horsy" folks connected with the show....

I just might watch that. My wife is the big Western fan in our house, so if I tell her about it, I'm probably going to find it on the TV those two nights.

Me, too.

But whoever came up with the name "Print Ritter"? I've never met a cowboy named 'Print."

There's probably some folksy story about how he got the name, tracking wild game in the furrest or something.

(Actually, it does look like it might be good. And Duval does good cowboy. :) )

No I t'wasn't an extra on this. Would have like to be if given the chance though.

Sure would like to see it though- AMC is not a cable station here so I reckon I'll have to wait for the DVD version.

Trailer looks as though filming was just a bit SW of where Katie lives- near Longview where Unforgiven made.

I think Duvall said that it was made somewhere close to where Open Range was shot.

Don't know exactly where that would be....

Open Range was filmed near Longview (SW of Calgary) and just west of Calgary at Morley, Alberta on the Stoney (Sioux) Reservation. The latter was also the film location for the popular Little Big Man.
