Well, I'll combine my parents houses and pretend they still live together...

So...hmmm...

one upright piano

two digitals (my dad has one and i have one - same model)

one double bass (probably the most valuable thing anyone in my family owns)

one cello

three guitars

one dulcimer

one violin

a few other smaller instruments, like occarinas and thumb pianos
And how are you today?

one digital stage piano
one violin i still don't know how to play
one ovation guitar... i still don't know how to play
one recorder... i don't play because the dog insists on joining me in a duet and he sings off key
of course... my kids think every flat surface is a drum .... as evidenced by the handprints on the white walls... sheesh!
one squeeking highpitched washing machine... it does have a good beat on the spin cycle
unfortunately, I too am not blessed with good sax
some kazoos and we play the "spoons" occasionally
we also fill up the wine glasses with water and a little vinegar and play them with our fingers around the rim (was almost kicked out of a fine restaurant for doing this)

I'd rather fall into chocolate.

no way Kenny...I can't do without sax. He's very understanding about it though. He's even paid for me to have sax.

Fulla-Carp
1 Technics digital piano
1 piece of **** Lester player piano (player part is missing)
1 djembe drum (I used to go to drumming circles down in Skippack on pagan sabbats, esbats)
2 accoustic guitars

Now if I only had the talent and courage to play (learn to play) any of those instruments, minus the Lester piano)

When I was younger, it was sax, sax, sax - morning, noon and night. I used to get quite out of breath, but luckily I had a very strong diaphragm, so it didn't cause any permanent problems.

Since I've married, and particularly with the kids, there's a lot less sax in the house. The neighbours probably wouldn't like the noise anyway.

Like Shammy, Mrs D'oh seems to spend much more time with the washing machine on it's spin cycle nowadays. I'm not sure why.

Oh, I did too. I never did know what it was called, thanks Deb. I got it for a Christmas present one year, after much begging and pleading for a piano.
