Let us know what you think of it when you're done. I've been meaning to look at my bookshelf for what I regarded as an excellent US history (although it only goes to the end of the War of 1812. I looked last night and the title is The Bold & Magnificent Dream: America's Founding Years, 1492–1815, authored by Bruce Catton and William Bruce Catton. I think it may have been or was intended to be part of a series. I'll have to research that point. Big Al |

Cool, let me know any updates. I'm fascinated by history, especially ours....so it should be a good read. I'm reading "The World Is Flat" by Thomas Friedman right now...pretty interesting! |
