Locomotive? Locomotive stolen from England. America in shock. You even stole American football from England. Rugby football, a perverted in-bred step child of the beautiful game, invented by a snot-nosed school boy from Rugby school was made even more abominable by the addition of big pads and even bigger salaries. A spokesman from Rugby school said 'I guess they're scared of hurting themselves. Poor wittle Americans'.

I would be very concerned if I was a German fan. They should never let CR score 2 goals. They did a poor job marking Wanchope, who is really the only threat on the CR side. Costa Rica is the weakest team in Group A. The good news is they have 3 points now, and with Ballack back for the next few games, they should do better. BTW, Klaus, do you think Klinsmann is doing a good job? |

That was great for T&T to be able to tie Sweden. England have not beaten Sweden in international matches since 1968, but I think England's midfield will make the difference. Sweden looked very uninspiring today, and couldn't hold the ball well in the midfield. |

Czech Rep. this year looks a lot like Portugal in 2002 (the year the US upset them). For anyone who can see the USA-CR game, the player to watch is Tomas Rosicky. |

Well, to be fair, we were pussy footing around for most of the match too. The offensive could have been MUCH stronger than how they performed yesterday. England have one brilliant skill in their favour. If someone even snaps one of their nails they will roll around on the floor screaming in pain until they have the ref's attention and get a free kick, then jump up and run about fine immediately after the kick is given. x |
