"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter. | |

I'm pleased to see that they are making the intention to pay out the bounty widely known. A good incentive to interested third parties to assist in the location and identification of a few of other Wanted Dead or Alives. Beneath all the Islamic rhetoric and superstition, large sums of money can actually provide you with the means to realize the experential physical pleasures of Islamic martrydom without the anxiety and messiness of first blowing yourself up to smithereens. |

Yes, who knows? It might even be enough incentive for someone to turn in what's-his-name. You know, the guy who attacked us. Since the Decider announced he doesn't spend much time on him anymore, I've decided to forget his name. |

They both have attacked us. Now we've killed one of them. Now on to what's-his-name. ![]() This will be a very good incentive.

HOLY CARP!!!

actually that may be spin. its in the us's interest of course to hint that they had an insider giving info, in order to sow distrust with the remaining ranks. a well known old psych warfare trick. for all we know, (and we never really will know) it may have been sigint or humint. not that it matters too much. |

Osama? One of many. The President would be a fool to obsess on one guy...let the intel folks do their work, all the Pres has to do is ok the ops and the final sanction. For chuckles and grins read some of W.E.B Griffin's latest stuff, not the historical (although it's a fun read), but some of his counter-terrorism stuff. Yep, it's fiction, but some of the behind-the-scenes stuff is interesting, and according to a couple of retired intel people I know (one NSA, one CIA) somewhat semi-plausible. |
