Christ almighty!!! thank God their great grandparents had better intestinal fortitude than their coddled ancestors. can you imagine if our early settlers sat around carving themselves up to show their inner pain?? this place is getting so very soft. |

I've talked to a few people who went to Princeton, and a lot of Top o' the Class'ers around here aim for it (since it's so close). It sounds like the tensions there (and I would imagine at other similarly-competitive schools) get ridiculously high. Precisely the reason I declined all those Ivy League acceptance packages

I am the grey one

Probably explains why I cut myself shaving this morning. In inner wound striving for outward expression. |

I lean heavily toward the inner wound explanation. |

If you really want to express your inner wound, you should douse the cut with an expensive single malt. This will hurt in more than one way. The physical agony will last a few seconds, the mental anguish of what you've done will be with you for an eternity, or at least until you can pour yourself another one. |

That is an excellent idea. I shall apply some tonight internally. |
