I have no idea.

Let me help.

Are your parents on welfare?
Do they rent or own their home?
Do bill collectors knock on their door?
Is your mom's diamond wider than her finger?
Were you disqualified for financial aid for tuition?

Now, if kenny was a nefarious dude, you take all of his poll questions...database them into a spreadsheet, do a little hacking for ISPs, and voila!

How much would kenny know about you?

Sure.

No.

Own.

Not to the best of my knowledge.

I don't know if my mom even wears diamonds.

Yes and no. Partially, but not totally.

Other than that, I have no idea what my family plans on doing with their assets once they pass away as I have never seen anyone's will, and I'm really not in a position to make sound speculation. But right now I'm supporting myself so I'm not concerned.

Yeah I don't know either.

Mainly, because my mom might get quite a bit from her dad (my grandpa) when he passes away. I think he has over a million saved up. Then again, my mom is one of four siblings.

Then again, I'm one of five siblings, but my parents own a nice house, etc..

Who knows....probably wont be for at least another 30 years, so I really have no idea. Maybe $150,000 if I had to guess now...

I've already inherited about all I will get from my side of the family. A Maxfield Parrish print ("Daybreak") an antique recliner, an antique side table, couple other pieces of furniture. Probably won't have a house when they die.

My wife's folks will have an estate that includes their home, a house in France, a couple of collector cars and probably quite a bit in cash and bonds, etc. That will have to be divided into thirds. Luckily, not something we should have to worry about for 20-30 years.

I inherited a lot of "stuff" from my grandparents and little money to insure or maintain it. A sterling silver tea service, a c. 1760 highboy, some jewelry, oriental rugs and so on.

Recently I received about half of my (monetary) inheritence. I can't complain.

I suppose my wife did marry down a bit, though when I was a kid we lived in a 6000 sq ft house! Then my folks divorced. My Dad married someone about 10 yrs older than me, so I don't expect to get anything there. My Mom married and both of them are living on social security, but they own outright a sub-$200k house in Benson, UT.

In addition to a 2001 Acura TL, my in-laws have a '56 Chevy stepside w/the wrap around back window in very nice condition and a mid-80's Porsche 911. Father in law sold his '66 Mustang Coupe to get the Porsche.

EDIT: Oh yeah, my wife's Dad has some nice guns that I'd love to inherit.

I love those places. I am a member of a Mustang forum (current generation, thank you), a Chevy Colorado forum (not posting there now since I decided if I get a truck it will be a Toyota Tacoma), A Triumph forum (not posting there now that I decided against getting a 40-plus-year-old car) and a forum for the Kawasaki Ninja 650R (what I'd like to have to commute to work on sunny days).

However, I have to admit I am not such a big fan of Porsche. Strange ergonomics and stranger engine noise. I would use it as a down payment on something else.

well....depending on the car you would get a bit more from me than a dealer!! need more info.

funny though isn't it....for me the ergonomics make perfect sense and the sound is heavenly...second only to ferrari.
