Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

In no real order, and ignoring classical music (BEETHOVEN!):

A Love Supreme - John Coltrane
Night Dreamer - Wayne Shorter
Stan Getz - People Time
Stan Getz - Live from Montmartre
Sonny Rollins - Saxophone Collossus
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Miles Davis - My Funny Valentine
Frank Sinatra - Songs for Swinging Lovers
Elvis Costello - When I was Cruel
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland

Ten choices isn't nearly enough. These are mostly ones I've listened to recently or put on when depression strikes.

...put on when depression strikes.

You need the following:

Joy Division
The Smiths
Radiohead

Bruce Springsteen: Born to Run
Keith Jarrett: The Koln Concert (Phleebs: :thumb:)
Bob Dylan: Blood on the Tracks
Tom Waits: Small Change
U2: Joshua Tree (Aqua: :thumb:)
Meatloaf: Bat Out of Hell

The dogma lives loudly within me.

Steinman, man that guy could write some epics.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

I was writing a post and it was eaten by the etherworld monster. :mad2:

So, brevity rules.

Simon & Garfunkel - Bookends
Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
The Who - Who's Next?
Elton John - Madman Across the Water
CSNY - Deja Vu
Led Zeppelin - first album
Joni Mitchell - Ladies of the Canyon
Springsteen - Born in the USA
Dire Straits - first album
Supertramp - Breakfast in America
You can never get enough of what you don't need to make you happy.

That's a great list.

I feel a bit guilty since 50% of it is sax players, but what the heck, they're all very good sax players. If Charlie Parker had released albums there'd be 75% sax players.

Great minds think alike.

What the heck -- ditch the EJ and Supertramp. Throw in the first Allman Bros. album and the Stones' Sticky Fingers.

Better now, sweetie?
