When you buy something taxable at the store the clerk charges you sales tax. You have to pay it or you don't get you stuff. But when you buy from eBay, Amazon, or over the phone from a catalog from out of state they don't collect the tax. You are supposed to keep track of what you bought and voluntarily pay this sales tax to your state when you file your income taxes. Do you? |
