Don't get me wrong, I'm really pleased he got sacked but I still find the whole thing strange, that he supposedly offered his resignation and it was declined. Next thing is he's sacked! It really is quite odd... MP, did you notice that Prescott ("Two Shags") has been outed in the Sun as having a, (ahem) 2" chipolata by his mistress and that he's lost control over his department as a result of the disastrous local election results? Of course, he's still deputy PM somehow, despite his campaign against Tory sleaze many years ago, and he's still costing the taxpayer approximately a quarter of a million each year yet Blair constantly goes on about being cost-efficient! |

Well if it's in The Sun then it must be true. I've always wondered what kind of person would tell the papers about their former lover's bits and bobs. The same kind of person who'd have an affair with John Prescott in the first place, I guess. The Labour Party really has become indistuingishable from the cesspool of corruption that used to be the Tory party under Thatcher and Major. It's a good thing there's so many alternatives, isn't it? |

John, you've been across the pond for too long. How dare you cast aspersions against the bedrock of the British news media that is "THE SUN" !!!

I apologise. Yes, I must admit I'd forgotten what a fantastic paper it truly is, and when I say fantastic, I mean that literally. Like many of Mr. Murdoch's fine publications and programs, it gives a whole new meaning to quality. |

It was a confusion of ideas between him and one of the lions he was hunting in Kenya that had caused A. B. Spottsworth to make the obituary column. He thought the lion was dead, and the lion thought it wasn't. - P.G. Wodehouse | |
