I used to when we lived in Maryland and had some fairly unusual pieces. I sold most of it when we moved down here. My tastes have changed quite a bit. After years of surrounding myself in antiques I was was ready for all new.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I prefer the term 'vintage'. It's sounds more like a fine wine than a musty old chair with all the springs gone.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

those are the only antiques I can afford

I have one fine antique curio cabinet. If I want something to look old, distressed etc (and I do enjoy that...I like primitive pieces and antique pieces in contemporary spaces most of all...the eclectic nature of that appeals to me) I just make them that way myself.

I ran into some fellows in China who were making antiques. In fact, I ran into one bunch that was constructing an ancient city. They said we could not come in to see the ancient city because it was under construction.

No, they actually said they would be open for business in a couple of weeks.
