(Scrappleface) With the hurricane season only two months away, the Federal Emergency Management Agency still doesn’t have a director. The Bush administration has courted at least seven potential FEMA leaders, since the resignation of Michael Brown after Hurricane Katrina, but they all said ‘No’. Today, the White House appealed directly to the public to nominate a new FEMA director. If you know someone who would like to take personal responsibility for the ignorant behavior of every single human during the next hurricane, flood, fire or WMD attack, please submit that name to disastercareer@FEMA.gov. If your nominee gets appointed as FEMA director, the White House will send you a box of dehydrated milk and a delicious ‘Heck-of-a-job Brownie’ from Chocolate Town Bakery in New Orleans, Louisiana. |
