Interesting that you asked. The answer is yes. It will be released in the Fall. BTW, Bach is played by Michael Jackson.

ive gone through "the bach reader" which is a collection of original primary sources on bachs life (basically down to the level of laundry lists, anything that jsb seemed to write is in there...)

this seems more a history of an age, of the end of the baroque, in many aspects. centered around the famous meeting between frederick and jsb which gave birth to the musical offering...

im ordering it today...

Looks like an interesting book. I love books that put people/events in context with everything else that is going on at that time. Brings everything to life.
