HOLY CARP!!!

It was just released here March 10, don't know if it is showing in the states, or the U.K......but I was wondering if anyone has seen it. I'm intrigued, mainly by the fact that the director is Icelandic, and it was filmed in Iceland. I think I'd like to see it for the scenery if nothing else! Beowulf & Grendel |

ZOOOOOM!

Nope, but I did see THIS ONE, which was based on Eaters of the Dead (a good book), which was based on Beowulf. In fact, the background behind Eaters of the Dead makes the story of Beowulf very real and convincing! If you like Beowulf, I'd recommend this one. The movie wasn't too bad; nothing special, either. I'll have to see this new one, thanks Sue! |

Thanks, Aqua. I'll have to check that out, didn't know about it. And Antonio Banderas to boot. ![]() edit: Googled it, and see that it was filmed here in B.C. Cool. The Eaters of the Dead does ring a bell, I guess with that title, I just assumed it was some tacky horror flick. (Quite a few of those get filmed here ) I can see why they changed the title.
