Geaux Tigers!
Heck, go to New Orleans.

Lots of opportunity for the right mix of job skills. The Times - Picayune recently put out a classified jobs section as big as some folk's daily paper.

Good luck to the three of you!! Try to keep the stress levels down and please let us know if you need a care package of any kind!!

I will gladly contribute contact lenses and solutions if times get real tight!! if you wear them that is....won't do you much good if you don't need them...they don't taste good

Thanks! Just bought a six month supply of contacts.

All: Thanks for all the warm wishes. I think we will be fine. I'm still working and LD has something in the works. Anyhow, we have a cushion at least until the end of April. By then, LD hopefully will have been working for a couple of weeks.

LOL! The unemployment was voluntary. Thanks for all the concern, though. No, I was the one that layed my former employer off. I've not been happy with the way my company went about it's business for quite a while. It's a good company, but my skill sets don't match up with their methods. Within three hours of putting the word out that I was gone, I've received four calls from potential employers. I've got a lunch meeting tomorrow with the most likely candidate, and from there, I'll be doing some travelling for the next few days. We've got a few dollars in the bank, enough that we won't feel rushed into making a decision. We appreciate the good thoughts, and would appreciate any prayers from those of you so inclined. It's a small industry, but one with many opportunities if you know where to look. Larry's been preaching for years about huge changes in the piano industry, and he's right. It's become even more obvious over the last year. There's going to be many problems for many dealers and manufacturers. It's also, however, going to represent some new opportunities for those with the knowledge, creativity, skills, and vision to see them and take advantage of them. I'm planning on being one of them, Now, I just need to find the rare company having the mix of the right people, skills, resources, and flexibility to work with. Wish me luck
!
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
