HOLY CARP!!!

I have had a bit of an issue with my iron levels for several months. I have a feeling that they are dipping again, and a friend told me that she was told if you rub a piece of gold against your face, and it leaves a black mark, that it indicates that your iron is low. Does anyone know if there is any validity to this? Yes, I know I need to go get the actual levels checked - I'm just curious. |

Try it and see! |
| The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it. | |

I did try it. I immediately got a very dark line on my face (that was difficult to rub off ). Just curious if that actually means my iron is low, or if some people's skin just reacts that way.

Time to call your doctor or your jeweler. You either have an iron deficiencey, or some bad gold.
