What do you buy on eBay? I shop eBay like some people shop at Target. Makeup, socks, underwear, clothes, shoes, antiques, CDs, electronics, camera and computer equipment, perfume, books, artwork, silverware, yadda yadda yadda. I collect old postcards depicting scenes in my hometown. About 90% of them come from eBay. What's the most unusal eBay purchase you've ever made? Mine has to be my Jaguar. A lot of people can't believe I bought a car on eBay -- but it was prefaced by weeks of doing a lot of "homework" before making that decision. I've had it over a year now and I'm still pleased with the car, and the thousands of dollars I saved. What's the best buy you ever got on eBay? A brand new pair of Cole Haan loafers for $20. They retail for $200. Just today I received a bottle of my favorite perfume from an eBay seller in the UK, a Penhaligon's scent very hard to find in the US but bought on eBay for $30 less than retail. Is the internet great or what?? |

Audiobooks, especially courses on music, history, religion, philosophy. Those have been wonderful. After I listen, I sell them again. Usually I break even. Free education, who can beat it! |

I buy lots of stuff on Ebay. Mostly video games and dvds 'cause they are so much cheaper than retail and I can get them brand new. I have been selling on Ebay for about 4 years now. I love it - a great way to make a little extra dough and get rid of stuff hiding in the closet. I sold my piano on Ebay! |

My first purchase on ebay was a bottle of 1989 Petrus Pomeral...850$!! Saved it for years until I got married. Kind of like a woman that buys a wedding dress before she even gets married. Sold two Rolex Daytonas...multiple bikes...LOVE ebay! |
