HOLY CARP!!!

Ours do. They will bark when there is a dog or other animals on TV. Once they wimpered when someone was being violent. They seem to have more understanding than I'd expect. And they don't just look at the TV; they watch it. It's weird. I wonder if there is or will be a dog channel. |

Actually, I'd be kind of surprised if there wasn't already a doggie viewing channel. Our dog doesn't usually watch, but every once in a while, if he's facing the TV, something will catch his attention and he'll stare at it for a minute or two. Wouldn't really call that "watching," though. We've had dogs in the past whose ears perk up when they hear barking on TV. |

Our new dog loves Elmo! There is something about his color and voice that will hold Ollie's attention for 15 minutes at a time. I wish they would run Elmo more often on our TV channels. It gives me a chance to rest before the next doggie challenge presents itself.

I've been looking for a funny pic we have of our kitty Wendy. She died several years ago but she used to watch golf on TV. I have an hilarious picture of her sitting on top of the TV and hanging over the front of it, following the putt with her paw. |
