There was a court ordered breathalyzer installed in the ER at John C Lincoln hospital here in Phoenix for one particular doctor.

The only thing that even comes CLOSE to that (which I've seen) is one guy who wore some particularly obnoxious cologne.

This behavior is without excuse. If he's drinking, he should arrange coverage.

I would be surprised if this were the first incident, and if it isn't, I'm shocked that it was permitted to go on.

actually, he probably had the best interest of the patient. alcoholics who dont drink can get tremors in the hands, and by drinking he was improving his performance.
