Beware, 89th! (Posted this a while back in WTF - hopefully not yet here) One of those grey (to say the least) areas. Guess the bottom line is - not to be punny - if you engage in ANY form of sex* involving ejaculation, you risk becoming a dad. And you (Y chromosone types) need to be aware of that. Guess royalty, by inheritance or election, have long been aware of this - though until now anyhow, not the hi-tech risks of indiscretion - hi-tech not only in conception, but identifying the father. Brother, reproductive technology sure has complicated our lives ethically! (Another day, I want to know what you pro-lifers have to say about the fate of surplus fertilized embryos...) And as for me, I never DID understand the mindset of sperm donors - also BTW getting complicated legally in terms on anonymity, child's right to know and more. Try to approach this issue from more than the strictly financial viewpoint, to make it nice and complicated. Findlaw only analyzed the strictly legal angle. (About the future exploitation of cloning for such nefarious ends, we won't even speculate . Can't keep track of all your toenail clippings, right?)*** *OK, exclusive of gay sex - but even then, you neverr know what somebody might do rummaging through your garbage while the little tadpoles area still viable! **************** http://well-temperedforum.groupee.net/grou...5663#7290035663 Dumb as he acted, Bill Clinton was taking a few precautions at least, in view of his position. Unless -- what else could have been done with the famous blue dress? When your girlfriend's an MD and takes advantage, what can you do? And what about the poor kid? Woman sues for child support; father sues for emotional distress. The case of the stolen sperm. Or was it, as her lawyer claimed?

I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
|
This is all too grotty and lurid to discuss. (And too many obvious questions that I really don't want to know the answer to!) |
| The dogma lives loudly within me. | |
