| Is it wrong to just go for it because it's there? | |

Is it wrong just to go for an opportunity just because it presents itself? For example, the last girl I would have not normally approached, but things worked out leading up to it that I could not miss the opportunity. For a while, I could not even remember exactly what she looked like because I had only seen her from behind in class, and she sat far away. I only had a mild mental image of her face. All I remember is that It passed my standard, as that's what I thought when I saw her, so anything after does not matter as the test had been passed. I went to an all-boys highschool, so my experience has only started recently in college. I think I will be good at it, because I am already learning a lot and becoming efficient at it. I already had my eyes and strategy on a new girl even while this one was turning me down, so I'm ready to rumble! The trick is to approach them like they are objects or a nice car you want. All that is left to do is to figure out exactly what you need to acquire it, work on that, and come back and win. Simple creatures, really. I am pretty sure that's the way it works. It hasn't worked yet, but I've been working on the theory in my lab with my colleages, we will perfect this method in due time. I don't mean to sound cold about it when I mention women are like objects. But basically, you must objectively view them or else emotions will tarnish your ability to properly acquire them. Even the nice ones are like this, I'm not talking about just sluts. (Although those are better for obvious reasons.)

tcmod, by strategy I mean you need a good approach. One's personality and character can be altered on command. This does not mean one cannot be natural or be true to one's own true personality, it just means one has to adapt it ever so slightly. |

your good approach is going to be the simplest one....not some long thought out plan of attack and you might as well forget about altering anything. they will see through it eventually as your "real" self starts coming through the girl you want is the one that enjoys you as you are..not as what you make yourself in order to get her. |

I was being slightly sarcastic, but it is true in a sense. There are a good number of women who do like shiny things and you have to approach them with an objective mind or else you will end up losing. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
|
Crash, why, oh why, do you come here asking our opinions and guidance when you never use any of it? You go on your merry way objectifying women and when your poor little hands are so tired and calloused that you can do no more, maybe you can use some of the good advice you have received here. By the way, you posted "One's personality and character can be altered on command.". Therin lies the root of your problem. You cannot alter your personality or your character on command. You can simply alter the appearance of those traits. For the last time, be yourself. |

... and why do we even humor him by posting on these threads of his? It’s either one extended put-on or the guy is totally clueless about how to connect with a girl worth connecting with. |

I confess I like Crash’s irreverent sense of humor. But I just think he needs a new schtick here. Than again, maybe that's male menopause making me crotchety.

I think Crash is gonna have to put himself out of his misery. Way off topic, Kenny - you were in a dream I had last night. Jose was ice skating, and we were trying to figure out how to get to Steve Miller's house, bypassing some kidnapping standoff on the interestate. (that standoff really did happen yesterday, I was watching it on the news last night). It was very bizarre, and I'm sure it means I'm spending WAY too much time online. Jodi
