Worst Years of Life?

HOLY CARP!!!
Under 10 you are at the bottom of the social totem pole.
Your life is controled by parents and school.

As a teenager you have adolescence.
Need I say more?

In your 20s you have to grow up and function in a totally new way for the first time.

In your 50s your body's aging is not pretty.

In your 60s your body's aging is less than not pretty.
Your family and society may discard you.
Media and commercials treat you like you were invisible.

I think the 20s are the worst years. You have to learn how to manage your own life. You think you know everything, when in fact, you know nothing! (This becomes blatantly obvious when you hit your 40s.)

The only thing good about being 20 something is you have the stamina and energy to bear (if a woman) and raise children.....but not much income. It's a doube edged sword in my humble opinion.

If these are my worst years, I can't WAIT to see what else I have coming up!

I null-voted this poll because while I've sometimes had bad times in my life, I don't have whole decades that I'd like to write off.

One of my favorite quotations is the title of the book Joe Namath had his name on years ago - "I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow ('cause I get better looking every day)". I've always liked that philosophy, even when I didn't feel that it was true.

i'm not going to vote, since i have only just lived through the teens. if 20s are the worst years, i want tomorrow to never come.... it is scary learning to live more independently, but it's fun, too!
And how are you today?
