Oh man, they both started within the last week (24 was tonight), and they are just the greatest shows ever!!!!!!! :excited:

I've never missed an episode of either (although they've been on for 5 years now....), and they are just so freaking good! It's amazing these shows are free on TV. :P

Oh yeah, the steelers game was also good....although I think I lost about 5 years off my life. :leaving:

Ok back to work...ttyl

I saw that. It looked weird. Not that weird is bad, it just didn't look like my kind of weird. :D

i like emma thompson. colin firth is ok. it doesn't look any weirder than lemony snicket or harry potter.

i've been going to movies a lot lately. i'm not sure if it's a movie craving i have or if it's just about the buttery popcorn.

not much. we tried to see the matador this weekend, but the moviefone listing was incorrect. it's playing too far away.

i do want to see match point when it comes to town.

Didn't see the trailer, but I've seen the poster at my local theater for a while...looks odd, but as you said, nothing more weird than Lemony Snickets...

And you must love the popcorn. Although I used to work at the theater and when people asked me if we used real butter, I would say "No, it's actually partially hydrogenated soybeal oil." :D  :leaving:

i've tried to re-create movie popcorn by using the redenbacher butter oil. but it's still not the same.

I prefer Twizzlers, myself. I always eat too many, though. Who would have thought red dye 40 and plastic could be such a great combination? :)

ok, here's my favorite movie theatre spread:

buttered popcorn (layered butter, of course)
milk duds (occasionally, to break up the salty buttery build-up in my mouth)
pepsi

Opt, good choice!

MS, this is what I get...and my friends can affirm this 100%. :P

Medium popcorn, a little layered butter.
Bag of twizzlers.
Large pepsi. (or cherry coke)

i like enough butter that when i hold my hand up during the movie, my hand glistens from the butter.

is there a secret formula for recreating the flavor of movie popcorn? i've experimented, but haven't quite gotten it.
