one of the angels
today i played at church. During the sermon, my director sat on my little stool (the bench is too low) and moved it aside when she stood up.. I saw her move it. I went to sit down and totally missed most of the stool - cracked up the church. All these people were trying so hard not laugh and they were praying out loud (creed). Even the priest was laughing. I find it much more embarrasing to make a mistake but..

anyway thought some of you might have some 'most embarrassing stories to share.

HOLY CARP!!!
That IS embarrassing!

I can honestly say I don't have any truly embarrassing stories of my own. I guess that's a good thing, though I wish I had at least one to make my personal history a little more exciting.

I'll share a semi-embarrassing story about my friend, though. At my college we had Winterfest every February, which was like a little carnival in our gym. My senior year, they had a sumo-wrestling ring. You got to put on a big suit and belly each other around the mat. Like so:

My friend (who I might add is about 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier) was getting her fat sumo-ass handed to her by me. On the 3rd takedown, though, I pushed a little too hard, she tripped off the mat, and sprained her knee. We had to help her out of the suit and help her out to the car. She ended up going to the emergency room, go on crutches, get surgery, and have therapy for months. Everytime someone asked her how she did it (she was a student teacher at a high school at the time) she had to explain "Well, while I was sumo-wrestling. . ."

I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week, sometimes, to make it up.

And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
