Honestly, Dean (and other extreme liberals) hurts the democrat party soooo much.

If Quirt or John D'oh or some other intelligent liberal ran the party, they would be doing SOOO much better.

I couldn't help but laugh at Dean's comments:

LOL. I have trouble organising a p*ss up in a brewery, so I think you're pretty safe on that score. Then again, if the voters of MA will elect Ted, anything's possible.

Howie Dean's a bit of of a burk, IMO.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

I Owe It All To John D'Oh
I'm not a fan of Dean, and I'm totally opposed to his formulation of withdrawing troops from Iraq.

That said, I don't think we can "win" either.

It all depends on what you mean by winning. We can define objectives, accomplish those objectives, and feel satisfied that we've accomplished what we went there to do. But winning? To me, winning would mean the eradication (or reduction to minimal levels) of terrorism and insurgency in Iraq. That is simply not going to happen.

On the other hand, I doubt that Bush defines "winning" that way. He'll pull a Nixon, he'll declare victory at some point, even though that victory will be far short of winning. And the troops will come home. Because it's becoming clear that the American public does not have the stomach for a long-term, large-scale presence in Iraq, even though that's what it might take to finish the job.

Now there's a true irony. I will probably think that Bush is bringing home the troops too early.
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

I think we'll have a troop presence in Iraq until the next president is sworn in. Bush legacy = "I never cut and ran". That's his victory, the rest of it is stuff he doesn't pay attention to.

Tom DeLay will be bugging his cell mate about it - see, there's a leader, a real leader, eh? Did I ever tell you the story about how I delivered the House for the Boy. Just in case, it was a summer day when the idiot Governor was out of town...actually in DC hunting up businesses to move to TX, ain't that irony,.....

If it was all about the oil, wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy the gas at the pump instead of the $B's we've spent running down production and running up prices?
