More like an obsession. I've never been as roiled about anything political ever in my life - if that answers the question.

Good. Fortunately I am not alone, and more and more Americans are taking notice of our collective outrage, too.

Oh gee, Kathy, you should know that the Daily Telegraph is well known as a radical left wing rag, and just parrots the usual communistic god-hating media bilge.

[Sarcasm mode off] For anyone unfamiliar with that august publication, the Daily Telegraph, or Torygraph as it often known, is, by English standards at least, a rather right wing broadsheet newspaper. It's quite a bit right of the Murdoch owned Times, for example.

Tim Spicer, who now runs Aegis, was previously involved with Sandline. With Sandline he purportedly provided arms and mercenaries to the Nigerians and was involved in reclaiming some mining properties in Sierra Leone. Not a guy you'd want to mess with.

The news carrier in this instance is not overly relevant. The video has been pulled from the referenced web site, which was not an official Aegis site, but one that was used by employees and associates.

The Brits are taking this very seriously and will file charges if the can run it to ground. Interesting, they don't have a dog directly in the fight - Aegis is under contract with the US Defense Department.

The US media is afraid to touch this stuff. Odd, eh?

Thanks for the background.

The reason I pointed out the carrier is that many in the US assume that most or all media is hopelessly biased towards the left, something which is very far from the truth in the UK.

Bias would be better than helpless. Our media is mostly rushing to plain vanilla. Busy watching the ratings and the ad rates. Of course newspapers are on a serious financial slide - if they don't reinvent we'll be reading our news on Criag's List - not a bad idea, we'll know all is well in Iraq when they launch Baghdad.

All the more reason that we need to stay committed to establish the rule of law throughout Iraq.

The dogma lives loudly within me.

I say we announce the obvious - the Kurds are free, autonomous and democratic. They even irked (polite, eh?) the central government by cutting their own oil exploration deal with a Norwegian country.

Now for the rest of the mess. I can hardly wait for Chalabi to be running the show and back sitting with Laura and meeting with Cheney - oh, I guess one already happened.

I think we're being had by one of the greatest con men in history. But you can't be fooled unless you think there's something to be gained.

Chalabi and Laura sat together at the Inauguration.

How was Cheney supposed to know he was a spy for Iran?

Not unless he got a "Jimma" face transplant.

Of course, the guy in the ball cap is Michael Moore, new found bosom buddy of Jimm... I mean John Bolton.

Sharia would be religious tyranny, not the rule of law although I thought you might know that with all the paranoid "Theocon take over of the country" crap that passes for enlightenment here.

It's what they know, and what they want.

Why shouldn't they have it?

If they truly want it then they shall have it.

If they truly want it then they shall have it.

If about 30% of them want it, then they'll probably get it, unfortunately.
