So sorry, thought you were someone else.

Is anyone missing a spare sock?

I see you still think I'm someone else.
I figured that 'Raduuu' refers to Klotz. What does the  smiley stand for? I tried searching the Net and all smiley definition lists I've found say only that  stands for Wub, which doesn't explain much.

Actually, Maple, you remind me more of someone else, although maybe not someone I'd normally associate with sock puppets. Hmmmm. :)
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

They may be more homgoneous

Oh yea of the vast and superior intellect -- what does this word mean?

humongous homogenous, homogeneous, homogenized, homogonous, homogamous, hominimous, homalogonatous?

The closest I could find was homogoneous, meaning "Having similar reproductive organs;". Which is why I stay away from WTF. :hair:

Well, excuse the typos. I have admittedly made more than a few in the last spate of postings here. It happens when I type furiously, and a bugger of a rotator cuff injury hasn't helped. But, I'm sure you knew which word I meant.

Once again, I find the paucity of commentary on the original post quite - - well, something.

Sorry to hear about the rotator cuff -- I hope you heal quickly.

As to the paucity of the comments?

Scowcroft is always worth reading, but that's a bit long of an article to simply have him say "I told you so".

I guess I am beyond help, because even Scowcroft says we can win the war in the article you cite.  He's a Kissingerian realpolitican, and I respect that. His reasons for us not being there have always been that it is messy and hard to win.  Fair enough, but your deciding that this must be coercively persuasive and anyone who doesn't change their mind or doubt their own political compass after reading it is beyond hope only suggests that you are grasping at straws.

Pauciloquy is not the same as paucity. I pointed out that Scowcroft is saying "I told you so" in following his estimation from Desert Storm, and that even he thinks we can win the war, so I disagree with your conclusion that this article must make people rethink their opposition to the war or "[they are] beyond help".

In other words, I went as far as I could in fairness. If that's not enough for you, that's not my problem.

Kathy, I get along with you.

While I might not agree with you, I don't run around here calling people names. I am also not in general "pro war", yet I am not a Bush hater, so I fall somewhere in between those of you who hate the right, and those of you who hate the left.

But to put things in perspective...

You were making fun of someone's ability to form a grammatically correct sentence. It was you getting away from the substance and making fun of someone's ability to correctly form a sentence. I found it strangely ironic that in your post criticizing someone's ability to form a sentence, you would have such an obvious mistake.
My intent was not to hurt your feelings or get away from the substance, rather to point out how silly it all is.
