Of course there is opportunity for corruption but it must be better than picking the cool-looking bottles like I do.

 I duuno, I pick a lot of wines by their labels. Obviously the variety, year, and price go into it as well, but I'm definitely drawn to cool labels. Haven't had many disappointments with this method. I figure if the winery has enough good taste to make their bottles attractive, the wine couldn't be tooooo bad. :cool2:

well this is interesting, dol. I just checked out the BC liquor board site, and all the Jackson Trigg wines are BC. I wonder, though, if they just slap appropriate labels on bottles, depending on the province where it's sold. Hmmmmm....

I just checked the LCBO site, and they do sell the JT Okanagan Sauvignon Blanc. And get this! Same SKU#, but we get it for $11.95 a bottle! ;) I may have to pick it up so I can compare to the Ontario one!

Well, I can do better than that. Lady D'Oh and myself have just drunk both the Kendall-Jackson California Chardonnay, 2003 - $10.99, and the Santa Rita Maipo Valley Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, 2003 - $9.99 wines. Actually, Lady D'Oh isn't a big wine drinker, as it gives her heartburn, so I was good enough enough to help her out.

Never mind the cost, or the quality of the wine (they were both very nice, as it happens). They made Batman Begins into a really great movie, something that millions of dollars couldn't even approach doing. Sadly, I have to get up at 4.30 tomorrow morning. God help us all.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
