Genocide falls under the category of prudence?

You and I aren't talking about the same God.
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

Genocide falls under the category of prudence?

You and I aren't talking about the same God.

A) He's not proposing genocide -- just the liberals.

B) That part falls under justice and prudence.

C) It's not a good thing to do, but my point is that the argument against it is made on political grounds, not theological one. This is a very common category error, esp in America among evangelicals with the WWJD schtick.

genocide
One entry found for genocide.
Main Entry: geno·cide
Pronunciation: 'je-n&-"sId
Function: noun
: the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group

I will grant you, however, that not every dictionary definition would include the deliberate and systematic destruction of a "political" group.

Whether it's genocide or not, though, Larry's still evil.

Who cares about genocide? We took the kids for their Christmas photos yesterday. It was just about the worst day of my year. I had to drink nearly 2 bottles of wine yesterday evening to get over it.

Bah, Humbug!

I'd assume the inference then is that genocide pertains to sentient beings only. Since it's clear that category of beings excludes Liberals, I just don't see what the controversy is all about here.

 Genocide broadly speaking.

(but that should be "rational" beings, not "sentient". Even mollusks are "sentient".)

Just at the moment, I'm not feeling particularly fixed-up. Attempting to drink one's own body weight is not such a great idea on a Sunday night.

OK, find me a GOP'er who could be described as 'finely sensitive in perception or feeling'. Apart from Ted Nugent, that is.

Oh, and by the way, it's Father Jack, isn't it? I mistakenly called you Father Ted. My bad.

Father Jack is long past the point of caring, or even knowing his own name.

OK, find me a GOP'er who could be described as 'finely sensitive in perception or feeling'. Apart from Ted Nugent, that is.

Ed Finan.

(In case you don't know who he is, he's a registered Republican in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I believe there's at least one other example, but I can't confirm that right now. Can anyone else help out here?)

He may be a registered Republican, but he actually voted for Nader.

Well... My needs are simple. But if I could have anything for Christmas, it would be this.

A Christmas Toy for Improv (View with HiSpeed Connection)

For you low speed folks, try this:
A Christmas Toy For Improv

And my first cruise would be a TNCR Christmas Cruise for a week. You're ALL invited.
