you guys have switched subjects. The question wasn't "can a guy that plays a musical instrument get a lot of women". It was "could you fall in love with them." Heck, playing the piano has come in pretty handy when it comes to.... you know..... but as Tina Turner said....."What's love got to do with it?"............. ![]() |

I learned to play the sax as a teenager in the stupid hope that women would come running. I have to say, it wasn't exactly a run-away success, which would indicate either my sax playing was crap, or I was missing a certain something. I used to tell myself it was because they didn't understand my genius...I still did better than the drummer. As an aside, what do you call a beautiful girl on the arm of a trombone player? A tattoo. |

I once dated a cellist because I assumed that anyone who could play like she could must be possessed of intelligence, depth, and sensitivity. A mistake, from start to finish.

It was a confusion of ideas between him and one of the lions he was hunting in Kenya that had caused A. B. Spottsworth to make the obituary column. He thought the lion was dead, and the lion thought it wasn't. - P.G. Wodehouse | |

The illustrious conductor Sir Thomas Beecham once remarked to a female cellist during a rehearsal: "Madam, you have between your legs an instrument capable of giving pleasure to thousands, and all you do is sit there and scratch it!" |

ZOOOOOM!

So falling in love has nothing to do, necessarily, with the compatibility and attraction of an individual, or even their qualities as a human being, and can have everything to do with their developed skills as an artist? (Mental Note: Buy sheet music and play that piano a helluva lot more.) |
| I cite irreconcilable differences. | |
