Saddam Hussein failed miserably to dominate his own country let alone the world.

Geez.... that's about the most ridiculous statement you've made today - and it took a lot to top some of them.

Saddam failed miserably to dominate Iraq........ wow....... now *that's* some deep thinking there, boy.....

So where is he now Larry? This man has ended up in prison, facing a death sentence in his own country after being dragged out of a hole in the ground looking like Catweazel.

Yes, thanks to people like us.

If people like you ran the world, Saddam would still be allowed to murder and/or rape millions of his own people.

Good Job! :thumb:

Oh, i see, you're just happy to be taking up the reigns. That's how you seem to many across the world, I bet half of Iraq were thinking, "when the world gets fed up with Saddam, we're *all* in for a kicking..............and they were right...........so what will befall your country 89th when people get real sick of you?

If Bush or Clinton decided to use chemical weapons on an entire city here in the USA, overtook the government, created a dictatorship, ignored 17 UN resolutions, had rape rooms, and over the years were responsible for 7 million casualties...I would hope another strong country that stood for freedom, would come in here and save us. I don't care if the rest of the world laughed at their efforts or were too scared to do anything...as long as that one country would come in, and fix the situation, remove the dictator, etc...I would be very happy.

If people like you ran the world, your country would be invaded and controlled within minutes as you would fight the terrorists with flowers. They aren't too effective. ;)

Terrorists have always existed to spread their hate, whether or not anyone was messing with them.

But don't let reality get in there...you'll get a headache.

First they have to have someone to get *really* pissed at........................enter, dubya and co and the vicious cycle continues. It may be difficult to break but that is the real test facing 21st century humanity.

You may disagree that more caring and peaceful people in the world is a positive thing. I happen to believe that it is a good idea and if that makes me naive then you can add more naive people to that list.

If violence is right...........i don't want to be.

Wacki, we all want peace, but we also have to live with the fact that terrorists have hit us before and want to hit us again, harder. We stepped in to stop them. They threw the first punch.

Is there ANY situation where you would actual support war?

Would you have gone in against Hitler? According to your current statements, no. Do I see a flip-flop coming? :D

89th, i find Larry's views totally vile in their colloquial inhumanity, i disagree with all my heart but i believe he has true ownership of those views..............you on the other hand, i'm afraid seem to have "rented" your views untill you can work out whether you can afford them.........but that's just my opinion because i do not know you at all.

Clinton must burn deep. :mad2:

You really don't see now poorly your brain works, do you?

How did he end up in prison, sport? Is he there because a bunch of you pacifist pussies tossed flowers at him and got him to just give up, or is he in prison because the military you hate caught him? If the war effort hadn't gone in and caught him, would he be

A: Still killing people and threatening his neighbors
B: Sitting around a campfire singing Kumbaya

And the thought springs to mind....why isn't our intrepid Iraqi trying to make Iraq a better country, though one means or another? Surely he must wish the same freedoms he enjoys for his kin, that he so blithely takes for granted?

I had the same reaction when i found out thet Tupac killed Biggy Smalls (or was it the other way around?)

Keep on digging that logic hole Larry. Do you honestly believe that you own the logic on all these issues chipmonk? Seems to me that your lame "moron" and "logic" approach are wearing as thin as Donald Rumsfelds veneer. First i was ugly then i never had cancer and now i'm too cool to have an IQ.
scratch.............scratch.............scratch............scratch. Change the record or the tactics. :P

I agree.  Asking what Jesus would do (without some preconceived answer, mind you) is a very good exercise, for anyone of any religion, i.e. "what would Mohammed, Buddha, Confucious . ..  . do?."  And no, violence and Christianity don't mix.

As, to kissing up to Wacki, IT, well  . . thanks for the fantasy.  If ever I had to kiss up to a mug, there's one I could do without a whole lot of pain.

Ooooh, now you're just supping up to muggins here like an especially thick ovaltine.

maybe they'd loan you a room next door

Ok Larry, a sense of humour, thats a change. It' about perspective Larry, me seeing yours and you seeing everyone elses and so on and so forth etc. Now i know that's going to sting your ego but there is a disqualifying "naivity" in thinking that logic is the difference between anything. Theres no prerequisite in the exchange to agree, simply to see the opposing perspective and follow it around for a greater undertanding of a world that extends beyond your intramural.

Your verbal perpetuation of violence against fellow humans makes you corpulently unnattractive to most. Luckily your impotence to carry out such threats is safe save those closest to you. If your *real* problem yet again is those who expose your bitterness towards the world and to whom seek to find a gentler way of being, then your words are like rain...........they dry up and the world is brighter again. You waste your venom on me my friend so stick to the point of your perspective without attempting to train hounds for the favour of spectators.

(in other words stop with the moron trick, it makes it difficult to have enjoyable discourse)
unless of course that's your intention? :tsktsk:

No, he just realised that he could simply sell the computer he was writing on and save 10 people without even incurring a damaged bank balance.............so he won't be answering you for another few hours until he can recoup his massive losses in the *act* of saving lives.

Like i said 89th buy it or put it down.
